       Sarah Elizabeth Williams, a native of Oklahoma, is a versatile soprano who is quickly gaining acclaim for her performances throughout the Central and Midwest United States. Recent performances include Königin der Nacht and Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Giannetta in L'Elisir d'Amore, Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel, and Queen Mary in Purcell's The Fairy Queen. Miss Williams reprised the roles of Königin der Nacht and Donna Elvira this summer as a young artist with Harrower Summer Opera and as a returning apprentice with Midwest Institute of Opera.

       A recent graduate of the University of Missouri - Kansas City with a Master's degree in Vocal Performance, Miss Williams currently studies with Peter Strummer and Linda Roark-Strummer. She has also had the distinct honor of coaching with artists such as Carol Vaness, Benita Valente, Roberta Alexander, and George Darden.

       While studying in Tulsa, Miss Williams was an apprentice with Light Opera Oklahoma and a soloist and chorus member of Tulsa Oratorio Chorus. She graduated Summa cum laude from the University of Tulsa and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi.


      Miss Williams is a current member of AGMA.

Recent performances include Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, Fidelia in Puccini's Edgar, Königin der Nacht and Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Giannetta in L'Elisir d'Amore, Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel, and Queen Mary in Purcell's The Fairy Queen. She has apprenticed with Harrower Summer Opera and Midwest Institute of Opera. Miss Williams joined the OK Mozart International Music Festival for their 30th anniversary season singing the role of Queen of the Night in Mozart's The Magic Flute and rejoined OK Mozart the following year to reprise the role of Donna Elvira in Mozart's Don Giovanni. This past spring, Miss Williams again appeared as Queen of the Night with Chatham Opera, Inc. in Boca Raton, Florida.
